POLISH FOREIGN MINISTER VISITED GRODNO REGION OFFICIALLYMinister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Witold Waszczykowski visited officially Grodno Region on March 23, 2016. Chairman of the Grodno Region Executive Committee Vladimir Kravtsov and first Deputy Chairman of the Grodno City Executive Committee Boris Fyodorov met the Head of the Polish Foreign Ministry at the Airport "Grodno". This meeting is a continuation of a two-day official visit of the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland to our country, which took place during 22-23 March 2016.

March 23, 2016 Witold Waszczykowski met with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in Minsk City. During this meeting, Alexander Lukashenko stated that: "I cannot say that there are problems that it is difficult to evaluate. I don’t even say that these problems or questions are difficult to be solved. We can manage them with the will on both sides, moreover, any problems. Main task is to agree with the criteria. And then, I think, no problems will appear."

Also, on 22nd March, 2016 The Foreign Minister of Poland met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Makey. Both discussed state and prospects of development of relations between Belarus and the Republic of Poland in the political, economical, social and other spheres.

A short dialogue between the Polish guest and Chief Executive of Grodno took place at the "Grodno" Airport during the visit of Grodno region by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
 
Mr. Witold Waszczykowski after that went to the regional center, where he visited the Cathedral of St. Francis Xavier, and put flowers at the monument to the writer Eliza Orzeszkowa, and walked down the Sovietskaya street
